i have seen quite a few pictures now on here which have like a background which is black and white and the focus of the picture (such as a car) in colour... how do you guys do this?

the way is do it: photoshop

duplicate the layer then cut the background out of the top layer, and either filter the bottom layer or desaturated it

Can be downloaded,

If you look in my thread, i've done it,

i lasso'd the surrounding area, then black and white...

leaving the object in colour, it took along time, or as said above, cut the object out, black and white, then re paste.
