Default iPhone Internet Tethering
As part of iPhone 3.0 you have the opportunity to 'officially' use the iPhone as a modem so you can surf the net from a laptop... I've had to start using it as I've just moved and the internet hasn't been set up yet...

Just wondering if anyone had tried it... I found it a bit of ball ache setting up tbh! but then I'm focking useless with computers anyway But once you get through it the speed isn't so bad and pretty useable!

thoughts?!

well... with iPhone Modem if you hadn't paid for it it would just stop midway through downloading anything above about a mb which was poo. Seems ok, speeds are a touch on the shit side but I'm not in a great area! handy at the moment having no landline internets

yeah the pricing isn't too crazy if you use the 3gb's then yeah £10 goes to o2... but if you don't then you don't get charged.
