Wtf aiggghhh!!
these swirls are pissing me off just spent £15 on super resin polish and its wank it hasnt made a difference the car has just been washed and then clay bar'd
and it just doesnt do what people are saying it does. if anything its made um worse!!! i applied using polishing hand pads ( a bit like micro fibre cloths) then buffed off with a thick microfibre then run over it with a 100% cotton polishing cloth.

i swear you were told in your previous thread that you needed a machine polish to get rid of the swirls? SRP gets rid of the minor imperfections but not totally

as said youll need it machine polishing. SRP isnt designed to get rid of swirls.
it probably looks worse now as youve cleaned away all the shit that was covering the swirls.

Take it that includes Autosol, Megs clay, Megs Hi Class shampoo, AG Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner, all seem to get good enough reviews from everyone on Detailing World...

So, in a nutshell gaz, to remove swirl marks to a very acceptable level you will need to get it machine polished properly, hand polishing will just not do, this will only remove very small ones leaving the deeper ones behind

no i dont regret saying halfords products are shit, ok autosol is very good but i really do think that autoglym products are very poor
srp, works good on some colours, crap on dark cars as it leaves haze marks and creates lots of dust,
vinyl and rubber care, lasts about 30 seconds,
interior cleaner crap,
wheel cleaners crap,
fast glass......ok that aint bad.
shampoo really crap
Please note though that these are just my opinions. I have detailed (yes detailed not valeted lol) lots of cars now and after spending hundreds of pounds trying different products i wouldnt touch auto glym products.

Tyre dressing looks great till it gets wet and just vanishes, also the stuff fucks up drives!
Fast glass i was a little disappointed with, i mean it cleans off well but takes minimal dirt with it
Shampoo omfg what a bag of shit, no bubble and leaves watermarks like a fucker!
Poor poor product...

new cars are also covered in swirls mate, as i found out when looking for a brand new audi a3 s line, and also you will also find that aston martin mainly use the menzerna range of polishes, mainly because they work lol
its only my opinion on autoglym.........dont get upset about it lol

we use autoglym at work and the glass polish is really good the tar and glue remover is good but alot of the other stuff is gash. i asked the autoglym guy that comes to us if they do wash mitts and he had never heard of them and he had also never heard of drying towels they have a really limited range. also we use this stuff called radiant wax and on dark coloured cars it leaves like haze marks and the dust is everywhere off it!
