why cant we have nice things these days..
Sunday morning, trying to cure a hangover and the doorbell goes, my neightbour 2 doors down says check your car as we just seen some kid circling it, they shouted at him when he started playing with the dust caps and he legged it.
leaving me with 3 spanking merc dustcaps and feeling like a twat that someone robbed one!
they were new the day before. we got them for free but its not the point!
I thought he would come back for the rest so thought I should plaster them with something to burn the little shits fingers!!
but decided to put the originals back on.

thats bad news...
i can top that though, a friend gave me a set of subaru metal dusties, finished in a nice black colour... i peeled off the scooby badges and put them on. they looked sweet wiht my black alloys...
came to top my tyres up with air on the wednesday morning (2 days after) and some fucker had stolen my front 2!! but the sheer cheek of it was he/she had replaced my stolen ones with the plastic ones off his BMX!!
i was fortunate i got the considerate thief!

I had loads of trouble with kids nicking my metal dustcaps from my beemer when it had split rims on it, done them up so tight I couldnt get them off in the end lol
I lost count the amount of times I had to shout out the window and go outside I even grabbed one by the scruff of his tshirt, the rest soon run off. Gave a talking too and they didnt seem to come back, although if I was to do that now Id either get stabbed by a 6yr old or be arrested for touching a child lol

You can get cap tensioners to put the dustcaps on extra tight. Ive seen a awsome one that has a slot for tensioning the dust cap and the other end is a bottle opener, fits nicely on a keyring too.
Anywhooo

Or just have standard ones?
Halfrauds LED chrome dustcaps arent the best choice.. maybe they did you a favour...
