Found some plugs - Saxperience

After remove my airbox tonight I found these plugs lying loose in the bottom of the engine.

Firstly a cable with 2 wires (1 orange 1 white) and secondly a fixed plug sitting vertically upwards. And they don't slot together????????

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

second is your reverse lights switch
so likelyhood you have no reverse lights there lol

first looks like it might be an airflow sensor but im not sure

You're right with that one!!!!!!!!

Anyone show me a picture of their engine so I can see whats missing?

is it a new gerbox? thats the reverse light switch, they should plug into each other but it looks like a 3 plug loom and a mk1 gearbox so the the plugs are incompatible

Is it possible to rewire the plug to fit or is there more to it than that?
