Are we talking about the post CAT lambda here? If so, just disconnect it - the engine management light will come on but the car runs no different. Then when you have the sleeve, connect it back up and the light will soon go out.

Connected mine back up with the sleeve and it went off straight away. If it stays on for a while, disconnect the battery for 30 mins or so and it should go out after a few drives.

i had problems with mine. i had a raceland manifold but put it back to standard. the other day i had enough of the engine light on so i tried changing the post cat lambda sensor. it was damaged so i had to cut it to get it out then realised the new one wouldnt go in. i think it was because the gearbox bolt on the exhaust wasnt in so the sensor had hit the gearbox casing as the exhaust wasnt in line. anyhoo, i put the cut down sensor in as a temp measure and connected the new one and cable tied it near the battery. the light went out after about a day and i dont have a sleeve on the sensor. it seems to be running ok now. sorry for the thread hijack.
