Important! : No Power

Hi guys, this is a desperate first post. Ive just provisionally sold my saxo and the lad is coming tomorrow but on my way home i went to give her welly in 4th gear and theres no power. It will take off from first gear right up through no problem but if you try and give it boot in any other gear it wont go anywhere fast. Any1 any ideas?

Its a 97 vtr, black top, 82k, K&N filter. It also sometimes idles funny but has done since ive had it. 2 months.

Please help, dont wana loose out on a sale!!

Im not sure if I made that clear, If I take off 'drag race' style it will keep going no bother untill you have no road left, its just if i was cruisin in 3rd or fourth gear and put the boot down there seems to be no power.

No definatly not the clutch, the revs dont go up or anything, its something to do with the engine? any other ideas chaps?

my saxo did that and the problem was that the catalystic converter was blocked and it jus needed a service,i hope that helps you mate

hey i wonder if you can help me mate,im planning on spraying my plastic bumpers black,but im not sure what type of spray paint shall i use because i dnt want it to start flaking off or anything,i want it to look like a decent job,any ideas on what spraypaint to use mate?
