basicly i have been caught going through a level crossing on a flashing light. what kind of punishment will i be expecting as i have been summoned to court and it is my first offence.

also can u get flashed by a mobile speed camera if it is on the oposite side of the road facing towards you traveling about 35mph, at about 150yards up the road?

In all seriousness, it must just be like a traffic light offence, 3 points, minimal fine.

if you get a TS10 you will be pissed, insurance see you more of a risk than the usual speeders...but an extra £400 on my policy when i come to renew...

trust me ive got a ts10 & a sp40! lol

nutcase dude i lost a pal in march/april who got killed by a train ive always been shit scared of crossings and going anywhere near a train track a red light on a level crossing id be stopped wheather i can make it or not.

but i guess youll get done in a similar way to jumping traffic lights but the seriousness of jumping a level crossing may come into it. hopefully you wont get done but who knows.

i had a ts10 and sp30 and it didnt make much difference to my policy. Both have now expired wooo

ermm i wouldnt have thought you would get done for that if it was facing anyway,.. what was the speed limit???

i have a feeling it was there to catch cars comming past on there side of the road. but not sure
