Important! : starting problem after engine re-fit

hi guys, wondering if anyone can help.... recently removed and engine from a 1.1i petrol saxo, and upon re-fitting it is failing to star, but when the key is turned the ecu is clicking quite loudly, and there is a small humming from somewhere,
could this be a loom problem? or an imobiliser problem? as it was fine before removal

inertia switch? red button against bulk head. press that. you never know

yeh, tried that.... might it be an imobiliser problem.... also when the key is turned the spedo goes up and im racking up miles while not moving.... its extremely strange.
