Default VTS Alarm Problem...

I have been disabling the motion sensors in my car by pressing the button next to the hazard warning lights every time i lock the car and decided its time to sort the problem out. If i lock the car without holding this button down - its almost a certainty that I will be getting out of bed in the night to turn the alram off! I tried a while ago to put some foil over the motion sensors and dont turn them off but the alarm still randomly went off. Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem I have no experience on car alarms so on my own with this one!

Hi, yeah unfortunatly this is a common problem on the VTS alarm the sensors are rubbish, have a search around on the forum but i don't think theres a lot you can do about it to be honest, might be worth looking at buying another alarm, or just living with the issue.

Cheers

Si

I'm not sure about the VTS alarm, but most alarms that have inside sensors should go straight into small box connected to the alarm. It should also have a calibration screw that alows you to increase or decrease the sensor.
