ive just picked some fluff out after reading this and it was grey eventhough ive had a bright green tshirt on all day

I seen one of those daft TV progs that explained it (something like Mythbusters or something) and its to do with the way the light reflects back off the dust so we see it as a particular colour. honestly.
Like pearlescent paint....
