Default Need a plumbers advise.

Hey right im looking at fitting a outside tap into the downstairs toilet (dont ask its in a easy place at the front of the house so it perfect)

anyway i want to just tap into the cold water feed for they toilet system.

i solder pipes ect but i aint got the stuff with me atm for doing and dont really want to be spending money on stuff i dont need.....

so ive been looking at bnq for the push fit t-pieces but i aint to sure how to connect a tap to it for the hose.....

this is the kit that they do which is made for tapping into the sink if im correct?
http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.js...&isSearch=true

and these are the t-pieces..

just realised that the outside tap kit has a self tapping cockstop the silver thing on the bottom left.

has anybody used these and are they reliable? dont want it shearing off and ending up with a hole in the water feed pipe

u dont need a t piece, the silver tap on the bottom left clamps onto your existing copper pipe,it pierces it as you clamp it on creating your feed.as for the outside tap,the ,little copper piece which is pictured next to the jubilee clip fits inside the green pipe allowing you to attach it to the bootom of the tap. hope thats helps...

imo i wouldnt trust that kit and id rather use a t piece, more work but id feel much better about it rather than it just piercing into the pipe sounds a bit cowboyish, probablies works but not for me
