Hi,
i have been thinking of doing a VTS engine conversion for my mini, but before i go ahead i need to know if the engine will fit in the engine bay.

Does anyone know the dimensions of a VTS engine (at its most extreme points)?

Thanks
Mike

why dont you just put a rover k-series engine into it..
you can get the 1800 version from a mg zr 160.. putting a k series in a mini has been done before and i think it is gonna be alot easier than using a vts engine!.

you said it yourself^^, i dont want a k series engine, as it been done many times before, i want something different. How difficult it is doesn't bother me.

i didnt ask for opinions on what engine to use, just dimensions.
