anythings possible... just depends how deep your pockets are. insurance prices are high for a reason, its so easy to push your luck too far and this was just heading to work on a friday. 2 years experience driving a vtr not a problem, 4 weeks in a (mint) mk1 vts -

if you do take the plunge... be careful

Hmmm...seems dodgy to me. When you say you were a named driver were you the using the car most or are you still using the car more so than the main driver?

How the hell did you pay so little? What type of insurance are you on, and who's the main driver?

i'm the policy holder, main driver. no named drivers.
its with adrian flux, tpft but on like for like, if the car goes walkies i get the value of the car and the brand new value of each individual mod.

i was quite happy for £540

I was 19 when I got my VTS. Payed stupid money for insurance though, I sold the car a year later for less than the insurance.

Abit confused by that.

My old Saxo was registered in my dads name, the policy was in his name. He was the main driver on the policy and i was the named driver, but in reality i drove the car everyday and he drove it once every 6 months. This was legal to do, this was what we was advised to do by a senior advisor at the office of the insurance company.
