Default master cylinder question

is a 406 v6 master cylinder a straight swap for the saxo vts one?

Also can i keep the VTS ABS with the 406 V6 brembo brake setup?

Thanks

nope just the master cylinder if you look at your o/e one the lines go into the nearside of the m/c on the 406 the go into the offside just means moving the two lines an inch over easy peasy tbh

not sure if the 406 spacings for the res bottle line up mind.

Think i ended up getting mine off a 307 xsi or something. Cant really remember.
that was a 28.3mm and had the ports on the right side (passenger side) so i didnt move the lines.

www.brakeparts.co.uk is good for looking through a list of cars to see sizes and what cars to get them off.

23.8 i think and the 406 ones are fine the res sits properly on the top its only the gti6 ones that sit on the wonk And to be fair you would get 2 lines made up new for about a tenner if you didnt want to move your existing

Oh right. Might have been a 307 HDI one then cos i think they are the only two 307's that have the 23.8 MM master cylinders.

Have to get me one of those. I dont fancy messing around moving brake lines
