Mk1 vtr *New pics Page 5*
Right, I bought this 5th October 09. £600 off a friend from Stokesy.
When I bought it there was a 5" universal backbox on it, lowered 50mm all round. 72,000 miles so thought it was a good price.
Things I've done so far:
- Dewipered.
- Stripped out with Sparco Sprint 5 buckets and 3 point Sparco harnesses.
- Sold the VTR wheels and now have VTS wheels which need a refurb looking at gloss white or same colour as my car. Got pretty new T1Rs on too.
- 2" Supersprint backbox with straight through centre section. 4-2-1 piper manifold.
- Debadged front grill.
- Rear badges and bits of interior sprayed white. (Theme with old wheels).
- Private plates.
- Tinted windows.
- Tinted rear lights.
- Sound system NOW FOR SALE £100 SUB AND AMP As I have the car stripped out I have no need for this.
Also for sale is the old exhaust, standard mk1 centre section with 5" back box welded on. £60

First thing I did was get rid of the old sub as it had no box and bought a Vibe 12" sub with amp. £150 in total.
Also got tints on the back 3 windows - another £150.
Few days later my sax-p stickers came through
Had my back lights tinted as well

Well sanding down we had a sander, and there was 4 of us, but we were pissing about. Everyone says it takes like 3 days, but sprayed 2/3 layers of primer, 2/3 layers of paint in hmm 2 hours that's with sanding.
Then in the morning I did the laquer because I was tired. It's well worth it
