Default Temperamental Wipers

Hi,

Sometimes when I go to put my wipers on they don't work, they just don't move at all. If I'm stopped, I just have to grab one of the wiper arms and gently pull it and they start going, or if I'm driving if I go over some cats eyes they start going..

What on earth is causing this?!

Dan.

The motor unit itself. Find a replacement and fit it. You need to remove the plastic trim at the bottom of the windscreen to gain access. (it is fixed with little nuts that are like, erm, female torx screws - you can get them with plyers if you are really careful. It's worth giving the area a good clean up while your there, it will probably be full of years old muck! Also the cabin air filte rmesh is easily cleaned too while your at it. Just rinse it in soapy water and refit.
