Stereo Settings not remembered...
Just bought a new CD player for my Saxo but if i turn ignition off the settings i put in go out the window! any idea how i can get it to remember?
its a
Kenwood KDC-W4544U.

Oh, also the tuner does not work for the radio.. i have no idea where i plug it into as it does not seem to fit the other wire coming off the stereo.. the saxo tuner is virtually flat and the bit that comes off the stereo is sort of like a headphone cable but larger.
Any idea how to sort that out as well?

they are little see through plastic connectors, coming out the back of ur head unit,
u just pull them apart n swap them round

find the constant live and the switched live think they were the red and yellow wires and swap them.

19" rim with a flat tyre.

as said above.... take you HU out and on the wiring loom there will be a red wire and a yellow wire.... swap em around

Okay awesome, thank you, done that.. but now i have the problem with the radio tuner.. the wire from a saxo is a round small connection, yet on the HU i have a large deep long connector that does not fit the tuner as it is too small.
Any way around that?

Yes mate, you will need a stereo aerial adaptor, halfords and other audio places will sell them.
Look like this.
Most new headunits come with one of these in the box.
