how low can you go?

just a quick question ive had it lowered 60mm for ages now i want to go lower on the front and back but whats the lowest i can go without problems?

ive seen many a saxo lowered to 80-100mm, although most of the guys ive spoken with have said the handling has been affected by going that low.

generally down to personal preference and opinion though..

probs the 100 - 110 region is the lowest, however standard shocks will absolutly fail.

It will batter the back axle and make the back 2 weel's camber to bits.

Lowering the rear doesn't affect the camber at all and it doesn't matter how much or little u adjust the torsion bars it will have the same wear affect to the axle, lowering it properly doesn't cause half the probs that u get doin it by splines. I was down 100ish on the front and found the car skipped round corners when pushed.

Just from personal experience, from what ive seen of cars which are royaly on their arse (which the majority of them are in the N/E) the back 2 weel's camber to bits.

But yeah, they tend to skip when you push them hard in the corners, i can only imagine to the lack of body roll due to it being on its bot bot and being so rigid.

thanks guys i might just find some decent coilovers that are second hand.

sounds like a good idea, if you manage to get them seconds hand you wont feel too much of a sting as they can be expensive for some descent ones.

But from what ive experienced, 80mm seems to look quality and dosent smash your spine to much.

Might be worth looking into.
