Default saxo will not start

it trys to start but just keeps turning over and never starts
i have checked all fuses
new coil pack
new leads
new sparke plugs
check that there is fuel going into the engin

i have also had the ecu unlocked to see if it was anything to do with that
it then started for a couple of minutes and then died and has never started again
can anyone shine some light into what it could be

Is it getting a spark? Either plug it in or check the TDC sensor down on the bell housing of the gearbox. Check the wirings not broken. If its not, you need to find out what resistance it should run across the pins and check that with a multimeter. If thats ok, I'd suggest checking the throttle positioning sensor in the same way, up on the throttle body, but if they go it still usually runs, just cuts out alot.
If the TDC sensor packs up, it either tells the ECU to fire the plugs at the wrong times, or not at all usually. If it started and then stopped again sounds like an electrical fault so I'd check that first.

Check the earths mate. If an earth wire has come loose or come of completely the car wont start..it happened to my vts before and everything was all good once the earth was connected up again.

Theres an earth from the battery to the body, also one on the gearbox and 3 or 4 on the fuel rail. Check the battery and gearbox ones. You could also try a different battery mate.
