Toad ai606
All doors are shut properly but it chirps 5 times and the interior and boot lights stay on? any ideas what could be causing this?

One of your door sensors could be broken mate!.
My alarm did this ( not a toad alarm ) but that was my problem!

5 iirc is the boot light switch
unplug it and try it man
either that or bonnet i cant remember 100%
but unplugging the sensor wont effect it just means no circuit so switch in closed position like

yeah its the bonnet wiring that goes to the switch. i have no idea where it comes from behind the dash? any ideas?

itll be a faulty switch if disconnecting it stopped it beeping
new switch shouldnt be much tbh

Yeah i has this problem, mine was a corroded drivers door switch.

Boot switch
if light stays on then ( and i have had this before ) the plactic trim that holds switch moves and does not make proper contact
either adjust trim or pad door to make it hit switch or unplug as last resort

Which switch do you need matt I have plenty on all those 306's, and a brand new one in the glovebox of my dt.

Ok dude, i'm sure the boot tilt switches are the same as 306's too.
Drive safe if you do come over, lyons road is pretty snow free, although the yard is now one big ice rink (kris here drifting cars all day didnt help) !

OK!
So its not the bonnet switch, kris gave me one earlier, i swapped them over and still the same problem. ive checked the cable under the dash as far as i can see and it doesnt look broken or frayed in any place. anyone got any ideas?
