Default £360 for +8Bhp.

i work around the corner of superchips, anyway was on my dinner break so i thought id pop in. ask how much a chip would be for a 1.4 saxo furio, mk2 he said £360, so i was like "a big increse in power for that cash then mate?" he just said "nope, you cant do much with saxos a chip will only add 8bhp", imo i think he was on crystal meth !

I'll think you'll find he was talking sense. There's not a lot you can do with the standard map on a saxo. Hence why nobody does it.

im ashamed to admit it but i enquired at superchips for my vts mapping when i had it cammed as i went trolling round a few places. they only wanted £250 for a generic map putting on.

dont waste your time with things like this imo

For the price of one of these you could get a remap to fall inline with you breathing mods on your current ecu and probably gain more than 8bhp (not 100% on this tho)

That seems like good gains to me, but like said youd be best of getting an exhaust, filter decat cams etc then getting it mapped to utilise it as much as possible.

power is money as said, remap/chip will only about 8bhp....even with more mods including cams you wont get massive increase in power but will be alot better to drive and the power will be more useable. only diesels and turbos will see decent gains from just a remap

you can turbo it.

Get a GT1548, a decent ECU, injectors, intercooler, and bits and bobs and you'll get 140bhp or so out of it.
