Could be done for no more then a few hundred pounds.
You can either put a 8V or 16V in, BUT you'd need to get the correct ECU, ignition barrel and key for the engine.
If you were upgrading to a VTS, you need bigger breaks OBV, VTR/VTS chairs,
I'm not sure if you'd need to upgrade fuel lines and drive shafts (Shafts possibly as they will be more under stress due to the powah)
Could keep original gear box though best bet is to get a VTS gear box (With VTS clutch)
Other then that, i can't think of anything else.
