Smile Engine swap

am i right in thinking that as long as the ecu is the same on both engines (ie 1 plug or 3 plug)

i can plug the new engine in with all the original wiring already in the car?

im thinking about putting a gti in my furio!

almost yes, there are a few different sized loom plugs, and a few different sensor types. Best to match the year of your car to the loom

best and easiest thing to do is get a loom to match the ecu from the same year as your car so that it connects to the interior loom ok. The plug it upto the engine and replace and sensors that have different plugs on
