Hi all,

just wondered if there are any specific slrs i should be looking out for for a first timer who would like to develop his skills a bit lol in the range of up to £300ish inc. lens.

And also knowing not a lot, what differs in the len's? they are like 18-55mm and all that what does that actually mean?

search/read FAQs, theres loads of threads asked on first time slrs.

18-55 mm is the lens size, the zoom. A larger number has bigger range/zoom.
