Default Springs and coilovers..

whats the difference?
i know coilovers are better but would 40mm springs all round be just as good?

i dont have the saxo anymore and the ibiza has 4 springs rather than 2 springs and a torsion bar..

coilovers are adjustable, springs are not, 40mm all round seems sufficient, anything below 45mm you should change the shocks etc. I bought 3 sets of springs before buying coilovers, i should have really just gone and bought them in the first place

coilovers are also narrower so wider wheels will fit on, thats why the euro boys like them

be careful with Coilovers on the mk4 ibiza. If you go on seatcupra.net and do a search on the mk4 section people are having some strange problems with cluncks and knocks. Not everyone has these problems mind but have a read up first.

I'm getting some eibach's fitted on my mk5 Bocanegra at Awesome Gti next Friday can't wait!
