Default Problem With Car Door Type

Hi i own a w reg (2000) plate saxo in zest yellow.
Now someone reversed into my drivers door (mate from work)
he'll pay for the damage.
basically i need to get a new door doesn't matter on the colour as i can get it resprayed.
the problem i have is i don't know which door i need.
my car is a 1.1 furio (it's from ireland) it's uk registered and not as an import.
so my question is will a door from another mk2 1.1l desire, forte etc fit the car or will it need a door from a vtr?
also anyone know of anywhere in the manchester region that breaks cars and might have a saxo door cheap.
already looking on ebay but no idea which door i need to buy
help greatly appreciated
cheers

I'm pretty sure all doors are the same mate. You just add on the vt kit if your car has that. Some doors from furio's, vtr's or vts's may already have these on but i would try and get right colour as it will save lot of hassle. If you're willing to travel, there is a french car specialist scrap yard in Luton which has pretty much every part under the sun.

so a door of a vtr would fit a 1,1?
its not got a body kit just a standard 1.1 but with furio badges and blue seats.

The doors for the Vt models have holes for the door bodykit molding. If your's a flat arched one then you need one of those!

is it just the side skirt down the door that is of a different size?
sorry if i'm being stupid but don't understand the exact difference between a 1.1 door and a vtr/vts door

All doors will fit. Just if you get a vt model door, there will be holes in it used for fixing the bodykit on.

you can just take the motor and all the window mechanism out the old door and put it in the new one, ull probs need to put your old door card on so it dont have the hole were the winder would be
