Blown Sub or loose connection? - Saxperience

My sub has stopped working for some unknown reason, at first I thought it was a loose connection with my remote cable and the sub worked when i pushed down on this cable.

Then it just stopped working altogether, iv borrowed an amp from my mate wired it all up and now the sub works when i press down on the cone? Iv just checked inside the sub box and both wires are attached properly.

Really don't have a clue whats wrong with it, any help will be much appreciated.

I tested my sub with a 9v battery get your speaker wires and just touch the terminals and if you here a pop your sub is fine, other wise it might just be the sub

ah right yeh cheers, i just tested it with a battery and the sub popped outwards, going to wire it all up again tomorrow and see what happens
