Default chipped ecu????

hi im thinking about buying a chipped ecu 4 my vtr thats come of same year and another vtr its ment to be unlocked and im just woundering if i need the keys to go with it or is it possible just to swop it straight over without any problems?

in theory you could just swap it, but it depends on what that ecu was remapped to , if it's remapped for fast cams or etc, n u haven't got all that, then it wont give you that much more performance, but it should still increase, if its not to expensive i would personally buy it

You say its chipped? so an ebay chip that does nothing?

Remapped ecu is no good to you unless its mapped to the same modifications you have,

What modifications have you got?
