Default How much oil etc under the cap?

Hai...

Was just doing a random cleanup etc and took off my oilcap on my cam cover.

I could see all the cams etc all shiny etc... just wondering how much oil i should be able to see?

And also it seems the be leaking a tiny bit of oil from the cap?

they should have a fair bit of oil over them mate ! but think there like splash fed so when the engines running will build pressure and feed them if i were u i would wack off the rocker cover give them a soak in engine oil and then put it all back together and let it run see what its like after

It all depends how long it's been stood, if it's more than a few minutes, then the oil will have started to drain back towards the sump.
