Facebook is a r'ship breaker ....
Any1 got Facebook and in a relationship ???
C'mon you've bound to of had an argument over it once or twice or like me ALOT !! .. lol ...
Me and my bf argued loads and there was just hardly any trust there with it so ive deleted it .. It also was a bit too adictive and everything these days seems to involve facebook !!
What did we used to do be4 facebook came along ?? Hummm I spose it was msn ..
Who else thinks its a bit of a r'ship recker ?? .. Whos addicted ?? or who just doesnt bother with it at all ??

It certainly does cause a shit load of trouble. Particularly among jealous types- i'd imagine it goes like this:
-Oh look my girlfriend has been tagged in an album! Must have been from when she went out last night...let's see what it was like...*click*
-.........
-.........
-WTF IS THAT GUY DOING WITH HIS ARM ROUND HER?! *Calls gf*
*Massive argument*
Good times.

+1 to that
Yeah, we've had arguements, but not over something or someone on Facebook.

Eeeexactly. Having an argument/breaking up over Facebook is so petty.

So much shit is caused on it, theres not a day goes by wen u dont see, be involved or cause an arguement for one reason or another. Its to easy to give ur opinion in a virtual world than it is to sumones face and ppl get carried away. ESPESH with flirting (this is y relationships go to hell).

Facebook isn't the problem, it's the people who use it, and their attitudes in life in general. In your case, it's not Facebook, it's your lack of trust for each other.
In terms of socialising, it's not Facebook, it's a useful medium to keep in touch and organise things, but it's up to the people who use it to know when enough is enough and actually make an effort to SEE people.

Yeah but without the internet, it would be up to that person to get confident. It's not the internets fault that people take a fake sense of confidence from it, it's the irresponsibility of the user, thinking they can be someone they aren't. I agree that the internet makes it possible, but knives make it possible to stab people, but they aren't to blame for stabbings, are they?

I get your point, but in regards to relationship problems, the slightest comment can cause a loved one to take it the rong way and bang, arguements

CBA to read all the above posts so i will just give you my "10 pence" worth....
I think if you look @ FB or MSN or Twitter or anything other social networking sites as a "relationship breaker" i think you must have some issues with trust in your relationship if the use of facebook could cause your relationship to "break".
BUT i do agree it can and does cause people arguements for a number of different reasons.
Hope that helps, although im not 100% sure what you are hoping to get out of posting this thread? im guessing you just want to gather opinions?

I trust my other half, she trusts me.
There isnt an issue.
IMO there's problems with a relationship if you argue about stuff on facebook.
