peed off
well been in the car today and everything was fine then earlier got a really bad noise from the front drivers side of the car that sounds just like driving on a flat wheel.
So got out and checked and its fine but the noise is really bad.
Hope this makes sense and anyone knows any info on this.
Thanks guys

is it like a tap tap tap tap noise on every rotation of the wheel?
if so check your wheels nuts!! they might be loose!

yes think you might be right mate.
had it in garage 2 days ago to get one of the wheel bearing repaced and the link arm but just dropped car back at garage now and he said with what ive described to him he thinks it could be the other wheel bearing.

Sounds like wrong profile wheel bearing was fitted - taper vs non-taper.

one is tapered the other is non-tapered.
If you fit say a non-tapered bearing to a tapered shaft then will go through the wheel bearing very quickly.
Get the garage to double check they've fitted the right one - should be fairly obvious !
They might be over torqueing the hub nut ?

This is why it's wearing. It is just running on one edge compared to the flat bearing.

Hopefully this goes to roughly trying to explain the problem I think you're having:
(Black is the driveshaft)
(Red and Blue is the wheel bearings)
