Default Japfest clean up.

As my car is on show at Japfest on the 15th of this month, I thought I'd better get it cleaned up seeing it hasn't been cleaned since, iirc, last September.
Done the exhaust the other day:
From this....

...to this...

...leaving the cloth looking like this...

...and the other side.

Nearly finished the engine bay/bonnet:
From this...

...to this.

Hopefully going to borrow some acid from a friend to finish off the engine, some of it was too much for the wire wool, cif, autosol and WD40

The bonnet went from this...

...to this.

I don't know how it got so dirty in the space of 6 months!!

Exterior and interior have been started, pics to come in the next week or so.

You could have done the inside of the exhaust as well.......wire wool and autosol......makes a massive difference.

I used Autosol on the exhaust, i was thinking about doing inside the exhaust, i bought some wire wool yesterday so i'll give it a go when i've got time.

There's no progress thread, i didn't bother as it isn't a Saxo, i can copy one over from another site though.

This is my car:

Looks nice!

Dont see the point of cleaning inside of the exhaust.. imo.

looks great, one little comment though, you see the screw on the upper strutbrace? it's looking a little rusty. Maybe wire wool and polish + lots of elbow grease could neaten it up?
