No Acceleration?
Hi there ive just recently got a VTR 61k miles perfect other then now and then when I put my foot down the revs shoot up but the car does not accelerate and I have to take my foot off and put it down again sometimes it works others it didn't. I had this problem on my old car as well just never got round to sorting it but now I want to get it sorted ASAP. thanks

Hi,
I completely agree with bluenotesmiley. Your clutch friction plate is slipping either due to wear or due to oil contamination. I'd guess it's wear.

try and test if its the clutch,
stop somewhere safe, put it in second and try and pull away if it doesn't stall then its your clutch.
