rust treatment
what can you do to treat rust on a saxo vtr, the cill of the drivers side is pretty rusted and causing tyre to be gashed out whilst driving

i would sand it down and apply undercar body seal stuff on it to prevent it happening again. but ask a pro or go to a bodyshop

Depends how big it is really.
If its a hole or peeled through then grind it all back, weld a plate on and wire brush the rest and use some underseal to prevent and preserve.

As db-sax says bset cut it out. You can not cure rust so to speak. Get a couple of quotes from local garages and go from there mate.
