all the 8v models are the same mate, Haynes manual says and i quote...

"954cc, 1124cc, 1360cc, 1587cc 8-Valve engines:
Inlet........... 0.20mm
Exhaust.......0.40mm
16-valve engines... Automatic by hydaulic tappets".

dunno if that helps

It's normally quiet on Saturday nights as most are out doing things. There simple enough to set. If the valve is under load your doing it wrong or there is something very wrong with your engine. If you can get it to stop even when there set sthe late model engines have roller rockers so if the car has a lot of miles on or just was not looked after its possible there just very warn.
