Default Poll: Best wax on your saxo.

Only vote if you have used the stuff yourself. Vote on the poll and if you wish to make any comments regarding the wax put them in here

Maybe even make this as a sticky if we get alot of votes and comments, might stop people like me and others asking

I have used many waxes on my vts.

Personaly favourites are,
Dodo Supernatural,
Dodo Purple Haze,
Dodo Blue Velvet,
Victoria Red wax

All the above gave great results....Victoria Red wax is definatly best value for money. Supernatural though certainly has the best durability.

Havent really seen many people talk about victoria red wax, hence why it was not in the poll

Have you used HD wax?

I use Victoria Red Wax. It's as good as Dodo and the application by hand makes it feel more special.

I have tried a sample of hd wax....not on the saxo though.

Victoria Red Wax imo is a very under-rated product and even after trying lots of products remains one of my all time favourite products. Its easy to apply, no curing time, easy to buff off and gives fantastic results.

EDIT: Dodo can also be applied by hand....however thats the most wasteful way of applying any product. You will use far less using an MF Applicator pad.

True, I tend to use Natty's Blue with an MF pad on most occasions, the Vic Red is only used perhaps once every 8-10 weeks by hand when I feel like it and can be bothered; takes alot longer!.

I mostly use Dodo Juice Orange Crush on my own car.

Haven't properly used any of the others except AG HD on a friends, didn't get on with it for some reason.

zymol glasur is the best wax ever ... FACT

seriously though, most people on here are only going to have tried one or two of the above waxes.. and obviously going to vote for one of the ones they have tried so a bit of a pointless thread imo.

having owned all the above apart from the celeste the best for me would have to be PH pro. really easy to apply, good durability and left a nice finish.

edit: the worst from the list for me would be SN..... strange as i know a lot of people absolutely love it, but i honestly couldn't stand the stuff.

Autoglym Aqua Wax. Spray on, buff off. Makes my car shiny and smells very nice.

I've used Purple Haze and Supernatural on the Saxo. Used Supernatural on the Clio. Supernatural seems better i reckon... Could be in my head though lol.

Using Rainforest Rub on my dad's Mondeo tomorrow if weather's good so i'll keep an eye on it.

Hmmm, is it because HD wax is more mainstream than the others thus more people have used it and then polled it as their favourite?

Is it really as good as the likes of Dodo, Victoria etc.?
