Default Brakes... (Simple Question Hopefully)

OK guys, picked up my Saxo VTR today and I love it.

Only problem it has it that it has quite a violent vibrating under braking from the front left wheel.

The faster you're going, the faster and violent the vibrating At very low speeds you can barely feel it at all. You can feel it through the steering and brake pedal. I'm thinking a warped brake disc, is this likely? Only worrying thing is that it passed its MOT yesterday...

Thanks guys!

You would feel a warped disc when you brake. Sounds more like wheel balencing to me. Also chekc driveshaft and wheel bearings.

I hope its not a free brake test at Kwik-Fit, because if it is, switch on your bullshit filter if you have one.

Im pretty certain Jays got a bullshit filter IMO

Id go with wheel balance, but its under braking

They'd notice a warped disc on MOT, they scrutinised my brakes on my MOT, spent (and no joke) half an hour, checking all the brakes.

Good job I held my hand over my ass at Kwif-Fit. Wanted to charge me 408quid for discs and pads all round.

Went to see a SaxP member in Ilkeston and was quoted 70quid for the front pads and discs.

Didn't catch the guys username but was a very nice guy!

Huge thanks to Mandyslover70 from on here.

Dropped the car off at about 11:15am and had it back by 12:15! Vibrating has completely gone.

Great job and great guys down there!
