Default Central Locking Module/Fob

Hi,

I have just bought a vtr but the previous owner lost the remote central locking fob. I do however have my furio that i'm breaking for parts so could it simply be a case of taking the receiver module off the vtr and putting the furio one on and then job done?

Is it that easy or would I come across other problems/immobiliser etc..?

If I can save myself £40/50 by swapping a unit over I would rather give that a go! But thanks, anyone know for sure if it will work? I'll try a bit later on.. crack out the haynes!
