PS3 games

Just ordered a PS3 off ebay. Got some extra cash, and was debating wether to get a 32" tv to replace my 26" or get a PS3, decided on the ps3. Comes with no games, but ive ordered heavy rain already as that looks mint. What other games would you recommend? Not bothered about cod games as got them for my PC. So which would you recommend? Thanks

see never been keen on formula 1 or GT games. Ive always been a need for speed fan for driving games.

I bought Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and it was fucking brilliant, loved it

Red Dead Redemption is an amazing game, i played this while i was off work and couldn't stop playing it, unbelievable game but you need to get right into the game to get the most out of it.. I basically became the character, started dressing like him, talking like him etc, sold my car and bought a horse so i could ride like him

Not really...but it was a fucking quality game

My fave game online is Far Cry 2, theres not so many people on it now with the new Call Of Duty out, but i think Far Cry 2 is amazing online, so much better than COD, especially when you get good at it

Grand Theft Auto's are awesome, the newest one i think is Episodes From Liberty City which is like 2 different game storys in one disc

I prefer Pro Evo to Fifa, for footie games, but make your own choice

Got the new Medal Of Honour a few weeks ago, online seemed ok but the story mode was quality i loved it

Get online on your PS3 its free, and go to the Playstation Store or whatever, and look through the games, there are hundreds of free playable demo's to download, just go and download a load of demo's and play the games to see whats shite and whats not...or theres a PS3 magazine i got one a few weeks ago when i seen it, with like 14 playables demo's, dunno how often they are out prob monthly or something..

thanks for your help peter. I already have RDR for xbox 360, i will play uncharted and if i like it i will probably buy the sequel. Farcry 2 is good, had it for PC but my PC wasnt rly that great then, so i sold it, so might look ino it. I like GTA's so wil probably look at them. FIFA for me though mate, hated fifa 11, so i sold that and stuck to fifa 10 for the 360. But im looking forward to getting the PS3 and seeing what its like. 360 you have to pay a year subscription to get online. I heard you can browse the internet aswel with the built in wifi?

Yeah you can go on the internet on the PS3, go on YouTube etc.. I even know a site where you can download all the latest movies to your PS3 for free! If you wanna know how then PM me as if i say it on here it'll just get deleted

Far Cry 2 story mode sucked dick, i didn't like it at all, but online is so good i love it, just a shame not so many people play it now with COD being out, but theres still a few who do play it, always matches going still.. Hope Far Cry 3 comes out, an Xmas release would be good

saw my cousin playing little big planet, not rly my kinda game but it did look ok. I saw god of war 3 on play.com checked the trailer and that looks mint, but i've never played god of war...ever but i've heard there awesome, so i ordered 1+2 collection, might see how they are then go for god of war 3

Tekken 6 i love, and the COD games, im also into platform and RPG style games.

And as child like as little big planet seems, its actually very patience testing lol and my 32yr old fella loves the game lol
