Default Stainless exhaust manifold cleaning

Hi Guys

I am apologising in advance if this has already been asked before......... But how can you clean\polish your exhaust mani back to the way it originally looked?

Mine has gone a faded almost corroded colour with all the crap from the roads.

Thanks in advance

Alex

Get a bit of Autosol on a cloth, that should do the trick.

if you want a perfect polished finish you need to sort out a die type polisher and a polishing kit for it auto sol is ok but for the best finish you should use something like this

the biggest issue could be the grade of stainless used, if it's not 304 it can tarnish and look corroded quite badly where as 304 will discolour to a champaine on even blue in some places but nothing too bad
