Lowering problems - Saxperience

Hey im new to Sax-p. bort a saxo VTR about a month ago. 2000 veg (V plate) the rear torsian bar has been lowered by 60mill and the front springs are 40mill. and the car has 16" toora alloys with low profile tyres. The problem lies when ive got people in and generally sometimes when im on my own. it is very "rickerty" and uncomftable to drive its very bumpy and unplesant. Ive lowered cars before and obviously its going to change the ride and make it harder. but it is beyond a joke to be honest. I was wondering if i was to change the front springs to GMAX as im not sure what springs are currently on it. and also upgrade the dampers would it make the ride any better. and less bumpy. below is a link for a kit i was looking into. any feedback would be excellent.

because the rear is lower than 40mm, the standard dampers aren't going to work very well which is why you will get the ride like that.

It's best to upgrade the dampers anyway when you lower it but if you go more than 40mm it's almost essential that you do it.

Get a whole new suspension kit including springs and dampers and that should sort it. You're looking 250 quid for the kit though.

so that kit for 160 quid on ebay isnt appropriate ?

raise the rear, its so bumpy because its to low and it will be sitting on the bumpstops with people in i.e. no suspension travel

Agreed, 60mm is for looks, and best if you have no back seats, but if you have passengers and drive in the UK its too much.
