Default Alternator/Battery problem.

Hi all

Strange 1 this sometimes on a cold morning driving along for the 1st 2 miles or so the battery light is faintly visable. Also when you turn the ignition key to the 1st position the battery light pulses faintly. The car always starts 1st time & 2 years ago it had a brand new alternator.

Just a little update the car started 1st time this morning however the wipers were working slow the heater although on full blast didn`t seem like it then petrol guage started jumping.Went to fill up with petrol started it up again & bingo everything working as per normal went to a mates garage who tested the battery & the alternator who said its charging fine & to put the battery on trickle charge then clean up the alternator connections. He said its a cold weather problem.
