Default powersteering pipe and driveshaft issues..

Right firstly my latest vtr is lowered 60mm I have read this cause a metal powersteering pipe to rub through which mine has and constantly leaking pas fluid. Could I replace this pipe pretty easily with a slightly longer pipe with more room to move it from the steering arms?

Secondly I have a rearended early silvertop vtr would the drive shafts off that fit my newer Yreg mk2 vtr?

Cheers tom

pipe is easily ured, replace it with a mk1 pipe and bend it away from arms. driveshafts will probably be different as mk1s have flat ends and mk2s are usually tapered apart from real early ones

Ok thanks well the pipe should be an easy enough fix I can just take it straight off the early vtr... Ahhh bit of a bummer on driveshafts will have to source a set. Cheers

no idea on mileage as we have broken dozens of vt's in the past year, 50 pounds a pair plus 10 pounds postage. good condition,no split gaitors etc
