Angry no luck at all with this vtr

im on my second week of owning it,ive just been to fill it up and pulling out of the garage it started running like crap revs up and down all over the place, loss of power then it would return but strangest of all it tried like fighting me to cut out so id blip the throttle it kept running, sort of but sounded like it was pushing air through the air filter any one please have any ideas, advise it hasnt done it once untill tonight.a few mornings its started but then run on 3 cylinders and engine light would come on id turn it off turn it on again and then it would be fine.

it seems a bit better today its just juddering a lot below 2000 rpm above that it seems ok it just doesnt like going along slowly say 20/30mph it feels like its constantly running out of petrol, above that as i say it seems fine.but blip the throttle at a stand still it boggs down and then idles all over the place.

Yeh as said do a Diagnostics test.

Or if you have a friend with the same car, ask to try theirs and see if it's any better

Also, change the fuel filter, it's cheap and worth changing anyway...

mine used to randomnly run onto 3 cylinders or start on 3 cylinders but then you turn it off and back on and it would run fine i think i had a faulty injector so could be that?

could just be a coilpack mate, if the engine management light cam on and its bouncing the revs up and down then its probs running on 3 cylinders tbh. like peeps have already said get a diagnostics check. i would still say it was a coilpack though mate
