Urgent help required please! - Saxperience

hi there im new on here but have joined up because got a serious problem and need help. I recently bought and fitted a 106 gti engine for cheap with all loom and ecu. Now i have been told that my engine will not work in my 1.1 saxo shell due to wiring or something along those lines. Is this true or not my car is a ph2 and engine is ph1 but got ph2 loom for it. Any help would massivly appreciated thanks liam

Hi mate it will work you have to modify/adapt the loom because ph1 engins use a single plug for the ecu whereas ph2 use 3 plugs for the ecu.
