Default Proper nice sidelights (hids?)

Whilst stood on guard this week, cars have to turn there dipped beams off and switch to their sidelights. Ive noticed a few cars with these well nice side lights. They look like hids but are obviously sidelights. Can i get these in halfrauds?

ebay's miles cheaper, I bought some similar to THESE a while ago, and they're good, but I can't vouch for that seller as I've not bought from them.

A lot of new cars have what they call day time running lights. They are much brighter then your regular side lights. There is no way you could legally turn your side lights in to these for road use in the UK.

On a side note those LED conversion side lights bulbs are illegal in the uk for road use.

Fucking hate HIDS. Dazzles oncoming drivers and is just a fucking pain in the arse when someones behind you with them.

They're pointless.

Don't agree, they're overly bright for oncoming traffic, fucking infuriatingly so in fact.

They're for dipshit show offs who wanna boast about it on forums. No practical use/benefit in real life...don't give a shit what anyone says.

I suppose depends on what car. on 99% of cars it will dazzle like hell. It dazzles on a mk5 golf, mk4 golf, mk3 polo, mk1 puntos, the list is endless....

It almost gives me instant-roadrage, and I'm literally the most laid-back-don't-give-a-shit person you'll ever meet. I did a bit of research online and it seems theres plans on cracking down on this, not only on motorists (on the spot fine without any chance of a warning) but on MOT garages that pass cars with them on.

also pisses me off when people have their lights misaligned and it's blinding, it's quite painfully obvious when looking at how your light reflects on the back of the car in front that one/both lights are bright as a motherfucker.

talking out of your arse there to be honest. Firstly they have a massive difference in light output, if they didnt then manufacture's wouldnt fit them. How the hell are they for showing off? there headlights

I see plenty of cars driving towards me that didnt have them fitted from manufacture and there not dazzling at all. Just idiots tend to fit them and not align the headlights proeprlly.

not true hid kits are perfectly fine if you buy and use them with projector headlight units.
