Tommo's Black Saxo VTR
I've been meaning to start a progress thread on here for a while now, I've been a long time lurker of the forums so thought I'd sign up and start one
I brought the car back in August last year, at the time it was completely standard, 68k miles, full service history, one owner from new and a folder FULL of receipts! Mechanically, no problems at all, just a few bodywork issues are first on my 'to do list'.
Anyway, I'll let the pics do the talking for now........
As you will see, so far I've fitted Smoked Rear Jewels, Team Heko Wind Deflectors and T-cutted the rear badges.
More updates coming soon!

Update - Booked in at the Body Shop!
As I mentioned in my first post, there were a few issues with the bodywork when I first brought the car and I wanted to get them sorted before doing anything else so I've got the car booked in at the bodyshop next weekend.
There's a crack in the rear bumper - no idea how it got there, but it's slowly getting worse - so needs sorting.
I managed to source a new rear bumper, in fair condition - £27.50 delivered!
It also looks like somebody tried to break into the car at some point, which was hidden by the previous owner using a sticker - as below:
The drivers side arch has also been replaced at some point as it isn't colour coded, that's going to be sprayed too.
I'm also getting the bumper strips and grill colour coded.
So it's going in to have the new bumper sprayed and fitted, drivers-side door repaired, bumper strips and grill colour coded all for a VERY fair price in my opinion. They said it will be ready for collection after the weekend - I'm not too sure - but we'll see

Agreed, the ride height is letting it down big time!

Just short of £200, but that included a few other bits that needed tidying up.

Same situation as me then. I have scratches and scuffs on both bumpers, both wings and both front arches and want my bumpstrips doing

BACK FROM THE DEAD!
Sorry for the lack of updates, haven't really progressed any further with the car over the last few months due to a loss of interest
Getting some 266mm brakes fitted tomorrow off a 206 GTI by sax-p's very own mandyslover70. Also got my eye on some 16" OZ superturismos
Expect more updates soon... in the meantime, here's a pic I took today after a quick clean....

Just under £200. Not the best finish though! Will be getting them re-done at some point.
One thing I would say is, when it comes to bodywork you get what you pay for. I learnt this the hard way!!

Another trip to see Jason/mandyslover70 is on the cards this weekend as I've just ordered the APEX 50mm Lowering Kit from Kam Racing.
Also awaiting delivery on some 16" OZ Superturismos which I won on eBay last week. These will be sent off to be powdercoated too, still undecided on the colour though
Also de-wipered will get some pics up soon.
