L-Gultamine or BCAA
So i'm coming towards the end of my long cut and starting a clean bulk from the start of next month.
Don't have any experience of these just the basic knowledge so people with experience of having them, what would people reccomend ?

Basic knowledge also but i chose BCAAs since you will be getting more of them since L-Glutamine is just one

BCAA's are ESSENTIAL imo. Has positives for a cut and bulk. I read a massive article on them. Simplified they help add muscle and keep muscle. Some people say to add more L-Leucine when on a cut for its anti-catabolic effect. I take them year round, not too expensive. Then again I only have 6g each training day (3g before gym, 3g after), some people take up to 20g.
L-Glutamine will be good for your bulk too for recovery. I definately notice less DOMS when I have it!
So to be honest, Id get both! But if you have to choose get BCAAs

Lol thought you would say both. Money is tight at the mo so thats why I have to choose one as the rest is going on mutant mass and gaspari size on!
Gultamine from what I read are best for atheltes, runners etc because as you say, they aid in recovery.
Im not soo bothered about recovery, more focused on whatever will help build mucsle mass more, so at the moment i'm more inclined to BCAA's !
Where you get yours, MP ?

Gaspari products are normally great but I dont rate sizeon..

To be fair though, your diet lacked carbs big time. I don't think it's the mutant that hasn't worked for you...

I used the sizeon everytime I trained. Mixed it up in my shaker and away I went.
After each set I would have a sip, around 40mins of training and it would all be gone. Couldnt help thinking I payed alot of money for a creatine blend..
Try it though - would be interesting to see another review.

Sorry for the double post but just read this.
Mutant mass works great, to say it dosnt work is crazy. The proof is in the serving information.
176g of carbs
52g of protein
1062cals iirc
I dont think your eating very well if that dosnt help you pack the weight on??

MP with the price matcher, get 270 for around £19. So for men at 6g it lasts 45 gym sessions. 9 weeks.
L-Glutamine with the price matcher aswell, sure it was like 500g for a 10a.
I only have 5g of it at a time, twice a day on training days normally, so 100servings. 10 weeks.
Around £3 a week for them both, worth every penny!

Have you used other creatines in the past? How did you respond to those? What is your diet like? Might be a chance you were just a non-responder. I've looked into it more anyway and i've only seen 4 or 5 negative reviews including yours and so many positives. So im giving it a go! Hope it works..

Will order them later or tomorrow, not used the the price matcher before but will if it saves a couple quid, what sites did you type in to get that price ?
So you have 10g 4 days a week and 5g 3days a week? (assuming you do a 4day split). What about on cardio/abs days ?

Again, would be interested to see what you get from it McGuire. I have never had any joy from creatine monohydrate, I do like Gaspari products just didnt see any gain from sizeon.
Pm me If you think I should try it again!

Normally add 5g Glutamine to PWO shake and before bed. Then have 3g BCAAs before and after the gym so 6g a day. Train 4 times a weeks.
BCAAs are good for preventing catabolism when doing cardio, but I dont do any at the minute. Strugging to put weight on as it is.
I started a thread on the price matcher, has the websites on it.

Ahh that may be why then, you may be a non-responder to creatine in general
I've done creatine monohydrate many times and noticed gains in strength, energy and size so i'm hoping for even better results with this stuff.
Why don't you try something else like Hurricane ?
