Who has had a crash within the first year of driving?

Am just wondering how much my insurance will go up?

Depends if you are at fault or not.

i had a non fault crash about two weeks ago, told it wouldnt afftect me if i claimed, so i did, provisionally did a quote for next year, with the accident which was not my pissing fault it puts up my premium to about 1700 on a vts

without it was about 1400-1500. so if you were at fault, i would expect it to be maybe double that?

Impossible to tell mate, all insurers deal with these things different

It's likely to be a percentage of your current policy instead of a fixed amount.
If you had a 3k per year policy and it was a 10% increase it would be 3.3k next year
If you had a £500 policy it would be £550 next year

An own fault crash will likely increase the price more than a non fault crash but the only way to find out is to ask your insurance company
